AmenitiesOpoutere Hall is a fully fenced, user-friendly facility, a small kitchen offers basic cooking appliances, freestanding oven, double door fridge, bain maries, serveware, whiteware, and cutlery, along with trestle tables, trestle forms, chairs, bathrooms, and PA system. All items are included in hall hirage cost.

Local Hire
Hall hire is discounted for financial hall society members, residents, ratepayers and iwi of Ōpoutere Hikuai and Onemana.
Charities whose proceeds are used to benefit the local community are entitled to a discounted rate.
General Hire
$40 per 2 hours (for up to 8 hours)
$160 per day for classes, meetings, hui, workshops, trainings, events, etc.
* Multi-day bookings are charged as a full calendar day irrespective of how much of the day is used.
Parties & Functions
$300 functions involving alcohol and/or music are charged at a higher rate and subject to committee approval. This charge is from noon on the day of the event until noon of the day following.
Wedding Hire
$800 from noon Fri to noon Sun (other time periods by negotiation)
Includes up to two planning visits
Tangi & Unveiling
Koha for residents and ratepayers of Opoutere Hikuai and Onemana. Otherwise please contact us.
Furniture Hire
When used at other venues
$8 per 8ft trestle table
$6 per 6ft trestle table
$4 per 6ft trestle form

Terms & Conditions
A bond of between $500 and $1,000 may be charged depending upon the type of event and the availability of alcohol at the event.
One-off events (including weddings) are not confirmed until a deposit of 40% is paid (deposits are non-refundable within 6 months of the booked date).
The OHUI Committee reserves the right to accept or decline any booking, and to be the final arbiter in hall related matters.
